25 ACP

The .25 ACP is a semi-rimmed, straight-walled centerfire pistol cartridge introduced by John Browning in 1905 alongside the Fabrique Nationale M1905 pistol. Although the .25 ACP was designed for semi-automatic pistols, various .25 ACP revolvers were produced in the early 20th centuries by a handful of european manufacturers and in the late 20th century a Smith & Wesson Revolver in .25 ACP was produced. The .25 ACP allows for a very compact lightweight gun, the cartridge is relatively short-ranged and low-powered, putting it in the same class as the .22 LR rimfire cartridge but at a higher price point. Some view .25 ACP as a better choice over the .22 Long Rifle due to being center-fired. At Velocity, we strive to stock a wide variety of the best brands shooters are looking for.
