I’ve ordered various brands and calibers from Velocity Ammo for many years. My recent order was for 124 grain 9mm Speer Gold Dot. It’s great ammo and is my go-to for carry ammo. I’m old (don’t feel that way!) and have tried a bunch of other loads and brands and — so far — always go back to Gold Dot. I’m not a big-volume buyer, but am consistent. With Velocity I have found 1) their operation to be very responsive, 2) great prices, 3) super-fast shipping. Thank you! Ben San Antonio

Speer Gold Dot is the gold standard in 9mm defense ammo. It works well in my 9mm pistols, hangs up a bit in my Hi-Point carbine but that is no fault of the ammo, just information for anyone considering it for that firearm. It fires fine in that gun, so if you choose to use it, chamber the first one and follow up with FMJ. For more reliable firearms, it should work without issue.
