The ARO-CORE-GD-2 is an advancement on Holosun’s popular 20mm 403 and 503 series optics, built to bring the ARO platform’s core reliability into a smaller, lighter footprint. It’s a compact rifle optic aimed at shooters who want dependable dot performance and fast target acquisition without the added bulk of a larger housing.
At the center of the optic is a precise 2 MOA gold dot, chosen for the strong contrast it delivers in bright and visually complex environments — a reticle color that stands out clearly against foliage, dirt, and other backgrounds where a standard red dot can start to blend in. That dot sits behind a refined 22mm optical window that delivers a clear sight picture and improved viewing area for faster target acquisition, and the housing design mates perfectly with Holosun’s magnifier series, giving shooters an easy path to add magnification down the line without swapping optics.
Practical, everyday usability is baked into the design. Shake Awake technology powers the optic instantly on motion while helping conserve battery life, and a side-loading CR2032 battery allows quick replacement without removing the optic from the mount — a real convenience when you’re field-checking a rifle instead of working on a bench. Ten daylight and two night-vision-compatible brightness settings give shooters precise control over reticle intensity no matter the lighting.
Built for durability without adding weight, the optic body weighs just 3.38 oz, keeping rifle setups light while still delivering rugged aluminum construction shooters can rely on.
